Shortly after those arrested had been taken away, a Slocan Forest Products vehicle drove up the Old Sandon road to determine whether the route was clear. Soon after this vehicle returned, a flatbed truck arrived, hauling a large bulldozer. Counter-demonstrators across the highway cheered and shouted while the truck backed into the turnoff, and the bulldozer was off-loaded.
