April 10, 2000 Dear FLOW 99 participants and other interested individuals, Finally! The FLOW 99 Summary Package is completed. It includes: The Summary Package is organized to correspond with the actual FLOW 99 schedule - with the flow of FLOW… The summaries are written by various individuals - by steering committee members, a few volunteers and some were submitted by the presenter of the workshop when no summary was available. As mentioned, above the keynote presentations were put together from transcripts. The source of each summary is indicated in their respective title: SP for Summary provided by a Presenter, SSC for Summary provided by a member of the Steering Committee, ET for Edited Transcript. We hope this package will fuel a continued resolve, inspiration and sense of urgency to work for the protection of water, for ecologically-responsible and balanced use of our forests, and for the social and economic well-being of our communities.
