  2. Visit http://www.platinum.com/cosmo/win95nt.htm to go to the software download page.link to Cosmo Player download
  3. Follow the instructions on the page, making sure to choose your correct operating system. After downloading you will have to un install previous versions of Cosmo Player. For most people this will not be a problem as they will not have any. Cosmo Player 2.0 comes pre-installed with Netscape 4.5 and above. You do not have to remove this version as 2.1 will install over it. You will have to restart your computer. The tutorials thet install along with the program help to learn the controls.
  4. Visit http://satellite.rsat.com/rsat/VRML/Perry_Ridge.wrl to begin loading the Perry Ridge file. It is a large file and may take a couple of minutes to load. It may seem that nothing is happening. First you get a pale green frame that you can actually manoeuvrer through, finally the full colour 'skin' loads. You need the colour in order to see the clearcuts on the Southwest end of the Ridge.

While you are waiting (and waiting...and waiting...)

Visit http://satellite.rsat.com/rsat/PERRY.HTML to read a description of the imaging technology that produced the fly-over. The company that produced it is called Systems for World Surveillance Inc. (no, I'm not kidding). http://satellite.rsat.com/rsat/ to visit their home page. For some reason they chose Perry Ridge and the neighboring TFL #3 as a demonstration of their products. If you see a link to a Cosmo Player download on this site only use it if you are sure it will work on your system. It links to a version of the player that will only run on IRIX graphics workstations.
